Finishing Touches

It is amazing what a little bit of ribbon can do...

Here are my sad, plain towels in the guest bathroom

And with just a couple cuts of ribbon, my towels have new life in them. Plus, as my hubby commented, "now guests know not to use them." My thoughts exactly.

  3. Fab idea! My house is on the market right now and I think that addition is coming up soon to perk up the bathrooms. (As well as politely tell the guests) ;-)

  5. I love this idea and the part about preserving the guest towels. I live on Cape Cod and am, of course, extremely popular this time of year (invisible in let's say, February). Anyway, someone out there has written a book called, "The inevitable Guest". One of the points the book brings up is the use of towels...You don't always have to grab a new towel, etc....Just to let you know, I have never seen so many wet towels than I have in the past week with these guests...So many towels that they almost blew out the dryer because the load was so big!

    Love your idea, Karen
